Tasting note
This is an outstanding Montagny, from Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise. It has refined notes of lemon zest, butter and coconut cream, leading into a palate of wonderful harmony and balance, with delicious freshness complementing satisfying richness. There are hints of almond milk and green herbs, and a beautifully sustained finish.
Viticulture
From a horseshoe-shaped array of vineyards in the Côte Chalonnaise, grown by carefully-selected supply partners of the Drouhin family.
Vinification
Hand-harvested, pneumatic pressed, malolactic, aged 12-14 months in French oak barrels, of which 10%-15% are first-fill.
Food Match
