Tasting note

A sumptuous dessert wine from Navarra in Spain. A golden yellow colour, with an expressive and enveloping nose with aromas of sandalwood and candied fruits. Its intensity is complemented by delicacy and depth, revealing hints of beeswax, acacia flowers and citrus peel. On the palate it is silky and luscious, a great balance between sweetness and acidity, culminating a long finish revealing toasted notes, mandarin jam, dried figs.

98 POINTS - WINE OF THE YEAR

In the press

The 2023 vintage of this classic sweet wine is a combination of both bortrytis and raisend grapes, resulting in wonderful complexitiy. It is a somewhat fresher style than the previous vintage with serious palate weight coupled with appealing lift and zest. The bortrytis adds a layer of complexity, bringing delightfully seductive apricot and mango, and the wine finished with a moreish herbal twist. One of the great sweet wines of Spain.
