Tasting note
Exuding elegance, its straw-yellow hue with golden glints hints at a splendid structure. Bouquet dances from fruitiness to florals and spices, concluding with delicate tertiary nuances. Citrus tones of candied orange peel and pink grapefruit mingle with al touch of pineapple. Floral layers evoke acacia, mimosa, and magnolia. The palate reveals creaminess.
Viticulture
The Benefizio vineyard stands at an altitude of 700m above sea level, is south-facing and has a mostly sandy soil.
Vinification
Hand-harvested with meticulous care,with gentle pressing. Clear must is extracted, followed by cold clarification. Musts transfer to barriques, half new and half used. Alcoholic and partial malolactic fermentation occur here. Lees ageing and periodic stirring transpire in wooden containers. Subsequent bottle ageing
