Tasting note
Deep ruby with refined aromas of blackberry, black cherry, wild herbs and delicate spice. Elegant and beautifully structured, the palate layers ripe dark fruit with fresh acidity, silky tannins and a subtle mineral edge. Long, poised and persistent, it finishes with purity, balance and finesse.
Viticulture
The vineyards lie on the hills of Nipozzano, where stony, well-drained soils and warm days tempered by cool nights encourage slow, even ripening. Low yields, careful canopy management and hand harvesting ensure healthy, concentrated grapes with exceptional balance and character.
Vinification
Carefully selected grapes are fermented in cement tanks with regular pump-overs to gently extract colour, aroma and fine tannins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, adding depth and texture while preserving freshness, purity and the character of the vineyard.
