Tasting note
Delightfully fresh with berry hints, balanced balsamic and minty notes, a touch of bergamot, jasmine, and a hint of clove and vanilla. Tertiary aromas of tobacco, cocoa, and coffee are seamlessly integrated. A long, persistent finish.
Vinification
Malolactic fermentation took place immediately after racking. At the end of the year, the Mormoreto began ageing in French oak barriques, where it remained for the next two years, taking full advantage of the natural micro-oxygenation facilitated by the wood. Aged in bottle for further development.
