Tasting note
Flaunts a captivating deep ruby-red shade. The aroma unfolds an immensely intricate profile, marked by rich ripeness. Notes of liquorice, vanilla, and star anise tantalize the senses. On the palate, a velvety texture envelops, delivering warmth and roundness. Robust fruit notes blend seamlessly with a subtly spicy, fresh, and gracefully refined finish.

Enticing aromas of crushed stones, blackberries, currants and flowers. Full-bodied with chewy tannins that are polished and compact. Fine-grained. Extremely structured and curated. Reminds me of the great 2016. Try after 2025, but already beautiful.
Vinification
Handpicked Merlot and Sangiovese, late Sept. for Merlot, early Oct. for Sangiovese. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in controlled temp stainless steel vats, gentle pumping over. Malolactic in new French oak barriques, 16-month maturation. 6-month bottle ageing enhances Giramonte's excellent sensory profile in this beautiful vintage
