Tasting note
Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and fresh green fig lead on the nose, offering a vibrant and inviting profile. The palate is fresh and well-balanced, with crisp acidity that lifts the fruit and adds length to the finish. A lively and structured expression of Sauvignon Blanc.
Viticulture
Crafted from two vineyard sites: the Cape South Coast and the slopes of Stellenbosch. The coastal vineyard, cooled by Atlantic breezes, ripens slowly for crisp acidity and mineral freshness. The higher Stellenbosch site enjoys warm days and cool nights, adding concentration, ripeness and depth of flavour.
Vinification
Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks using selected yeast strains to preserve the varietal purity and aromatic expression of each component. Post-fermentation, the wine was kept on fine lees for six months to enhance mouthfeel and texture before final blending, allowing each site to contribute its unique character to the finished wine.
