Tasting note
This wine opens with aromas of white peach, green apple and lemon zest, leading to a vibrant palate that’s bright and lively, with a lingering, refreshing finish.
Viticulture
This wine is a carefully crafted blend of three distinct terroirs: old-vine parcels from Franschhoek add depth and texture, high-altitude vineyards in Stellenbosch bring freshness and aromatic lift, and dryland blocks from the Swartland contribute structure and intensity. Each region brings its own unique character.
Vinification
Crafted from select vineyards, the grapes were destemmed, gently crushed and pressed to a settling tank. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks using selected yeast strains to preserve purity of fruit. The wine was kept on its lees for six months prior to blending, enhancing its texture and complexity.
