Tasting note
Gorgeously scented with chamomile, saffron and white pepper, this tastes of ripe green apples and pears, the herbs and fruit in beautiful balance.
Viticulture
Organically farmed in the Kollmitz vineyard in the Wachau region, harvested in late October so that the grapes have rich intensity from being fully ripened.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel to retain the pure Grüner Veltliner flavours and aromas. All of Erich's wines are unfined to keep maximum flavour in the finished wine - this aslo means they are all vegan-friendly.
Food Match
The balance of freshness and body makes this wine perfect for gastronomic pairings where other wines fail. Go traditional with a Wiener schnitzel, or be more ambitious with a kohlrabi curry.
