Tasting note
A versatile, food-friendly Grüner Veltliner from an excellent producer. This Federspiel wine is fresh, medium bodied, elegant and crisp, with delicious notes of apple and chamomile.
Viticulture
Organically farmed in the Kollmütz vineyard in the Wachau region, with most of the harvest coming in the first week of October.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-picked and fermented in stainless steel to retain the pure Grüner Veltliner flavours and aromas. All of Erich's wines are unfined to keep maximum flavour in the finished wine - this aslo means they are all vegan-friendly.
Food Match
A great wine with lighter fare, including salads, creamy pastas, or light meat dishes like Wiener schnitzel.
