Tasting note
Top of the range Pouilly-Fuissé, full of stone fruits and a creamy note of hazelnut butter, the nose a bouquet of acacia flowers and spice.
Viticulture
The Pouilly-Fuissé is a blend of the best vineyard parcels with 10- to 35-year-old vines from the Fuissé amphitheatre of limestone and clay soils.
Vinification
Each parcel is vinified separately to ensure the finest expression of the fruit. Half the blend is aged in 2 - 5 year old barrels and the result is a wine which shows great balance between weight and freshness.
Food Match
Serve with shellfish, risotto, grilled or fried fish, goats cheese and creamy cows milk cheeses.
