Tasting note
This gorgeous Nuits-Saint-Georges shows beautiful red fruit and flower aromas, and is succulent, juicy and silky-textured. Irresistibly ripe, rounded and easy, it is absolutely delicious now, so enjoy immediately and over the next 2-3 years.
Viticulture
A blend of different vineyards in Nuits-Saint-Georges - Charmotte, Chouillets St Julien and Les Argillats all of which are on clay and limestone soil and South-East facing. The average age of the vines is 68 years.
Vinification
Hand harvested on 07/09/18, followed by careful sorting. The wine were then aged in 50% new oak barrels and bottled on 13/11/19.
Food Match
Beef, pork and lamb dishes. Also game animals and French cheeses.
