Tasting note
One of Beaune's finest Premier Cru sites, Les Teurons is situated on a gentle, east-facing slope, overlooking the town of Beaune. Gentler in style than Pommard to the south and Corton to the north, the wine displays both richness and refinement, with ripe fruit and savoury complexity, and rounded, velvety tannins.
In the press
94/100 - Nicolas Potel rates 2018 as a 'classic vintage', pointing to the quality of his domaine reds as evidence. This comes from one of Beaune's best Premiers Crus located in the middle of the Montagne de Beaune. Spicy, floral and enticing, with 50% whole bunches and 10% new wood, it's a very well-judged Pinot with considerable finesse and ageing potential. Drink 2024-2032
