2023 Domaine Bousquet Ameri Organic Malbec is a rich, high-altitude flagship red from Gualtallary in Mendoza, Argentina, offering deep violet colours and intense aromas of wild blueberries, black plums, and blackberries layered with subtle cocoa, violets, and earthy spice. On the palate, this full-bodied wine is poised and fresh, delivering concentrated dark berry and cassis flavours complemented by fine, silky tannins and a vibrant, lingering mineral-tinged finish.
Viticulture
Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Gualtallary, Tupungato in the Uco Valley, at more than 1,200m above sea level. The stony, sandy loam and calcareous soils combined with cold night temperatures create bright acidity and intense fruit concentration.
Vinification
Aged for 12 months in new oak and a year in bottle before release.
