Tasting note
Delicious Dom, a delicate bouquet of pastel flowers, a handful of candied fruits and a scattering of toast, hay and liquorice.
Viticulture
This is the last vintage under the supervision of Richard Geoffrey, but what a vintage. The 2018 vintage was cooler but dry and September saved the vintage with cool breezes but intense sunshine. The grapes were perfectly ripe and incredibly well balanced with great energy which gave the cuvee a further dimension.
Food Match
Although a glass to be savoured on its own it also is exceptional with fresh Lobster, caviar & crab. Also lending itself to lemon and herb sauces. Fried fish would also be a classic match.
