Tasting note
The second vintage of Perl blends 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache. It offers aromas of charcuterie, briny green olives, exotic spices, and crushed berries. The palate is rich and velvety, balanced by earthy tannins evoking rugged terrain. These elements merge beautifully, leading to a long, memorable finish that leaves a lasting impression.
Viticulture
Perl is crafted from the most exceptional, hand-selected vineyard sites across Paso Robles—each representing the true “pearls” among the region’s diverse and distinctive terroirs.
Vinification
Hand-harvested at night to capture optimal freshness, the grapes were meticulously destemmed and sorted. The fruit was then gently transferred to stainless steel tanks, where fermentation took place over 10 to 12 days, allowing for nuanced expression and balance. The wine was matured for 20 months in French oak vessels, 50% of which were new.
