Tasting note
Oublié is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre—our California take on a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Its name nods to the “forgotten” Rhône varietals that thrive on our estate. The 2020 vintage shows vibrant acidity and perfect balance, with aromas of cherries and blueberries. A true crowd-pleaser, perfect for relaxing or sharing.
Viticulture
Sustainably farmed by hand on our thin calcareous soils in the Willow Creek District of Paso Robles, California.
Vinification
Hand-harvested at night for peak freshness, grapes were destemmed and sorted with our optical sorter, then gravity-fed into tanks to preserve berry integrity. Fermented 12–14 days in concrete and stainless steel for balance, the wine aged 18 months in French oak (40% new), in barrels from 228L to 500L, adding complexity and finesse.
Food Match
Pairs beautifully with a wide array of dishes—from classic ratatouille or wild mushroom risotto, to rosemary-encrusted lamb chops and smoked pork loin—making it a versatile companion at the table.
