Tasting note
Intense, fragrant Barolo, perfumed with dried flowers and a sprinkling of spice, followed by a mouthful of red fruit, almond and refreshing citrus.
In the press
Gorgeous aromas of dried flowers and strawberries with some cherries and hints of iron. Full-bodied. Chewy and creamy-textured at the same time. Attractive berry and walnut aftertaste. From organically grown grapes. Drink after 2025.
Viticulture
Nebbiolo from clones of Michet, Lampia and Rosé grown on one of our estate vineyards, situated on the hill "Terlo" in Barolo.
Vinification
2 years of aging in new french oak; then 1 year in bottle.
Food Match
Red meat: wild game and birds, braised meats, marinaded rabbit; aged cheese; truffle plates. Optimal wine to meditate over.
