Tasting note
Light and easy to drink, this organic white wine is made with traditional white grapes from Provence. Fresh and delicious, showing pleasing aromas of white fruits, fresh green apples, and ripe pineapples. Rounding a lively, fruit forward palate with a harming saline finish. The perfect company for spring summer dining and sharing an aperitif with friends.
Viticulture
Nestled in a coastal bay in Provence, the Léoube estate lies in Cap Bénat, one of Europe’s most beautiful protected sites. Spanning 560 hectares with 4km of Mediterranean coastline, it includes 70 hectares of vineyards and 22 of olive groves. Certified organic and HVE, all farming is done by hand with sustainable, artisanal care.
Vinification
Vinified in cool, thermo-regulated stainless steel vats, the wine rests on fine lees for up to four months, allowing enhanced texture and complexity. It undergoes natural clarification with minimal fining. Harvest took place in August 2020, and bottling followed in February 2021.
Food Match
As an aperitif, grilled fish with lemon, shellfish and spring leafy salads.
