Tasting note
On the palate are vibrant notes of pink fruit and the freshness of melon contrasted with a creamy, textured and fuller body than previous vintages. On the mid-palate is a hint of pink grapefruit that brings a mouth-watering acidity for a long and lasting finish.
Viticulture
Predominantly Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino) . 10-12 year old vines. Lower elevation vineyards. Clay and gravel soils. AOC Côtes de Provence.
Vinification
100% Stainless steel fermentation tanks. A controlled fermentation temperature (14ºC) is used as well as “bâtonnages” of the yeast lees. Three to four months aging in tank on yeast lees.
