Tasting note
A cool vintage, giving a fruity wine with an elegant, enjoyable tannic structure. On the nose, the wine is fruity with notes of red fruits : raspberry and strawberry. On the palate it is round and enjoyable with soft, supple tannins which lead to a fresh fruit finish.
Viticulture
We are the only Sauternes château making a red wine from our 14 hectare plots in the neighbouring Graves apellation.
Vinification
Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in tanks. 15% Malolactic fermentation in barrels and 9 months of ageing (80% in tanks, 20% in new barrels).
