Tasting note
A deliciously elegant, rounded, fruity style of Champage, with hints of cherry and wild strawberry. Its fine streams of bubbles enhance the delicate pale pink colour. It is fresh and vibrant in style.
Viticulture
Jacquart uses sustainable vineyard management techniques: no insecticides or acaricides, introduction of hedges and flowers on uncultivated land to promote biodiversity and only use organic amendments.
Vinification
This cuvee has all the hallmark Chardonnay finesse rounded out by the ripeness of the Pinot Meunier and the structure of the Pinot Noir, of which 15% - 18% is vinified as red wine. The addition of Pinot Noir red wine to the blend and a light dosage results in a very complete balanced champagne.
Food Match
A perfect aperitif, it also pairs well with meals including seafood, lamb and ham. It also works well with red berry dishes and desserts, and can even be paired with exotic or oriental cuisine.
