Tasting note
Refreshing Spanish white that has spent time on lees (the remains of the fermentation process) for extra texture; this is balanced and appealing, with flavours of green apple, pineapple and a burst of citrus.
Vinification
CARE is a manifestation of the old Roman word for the region of Carinena, but also the fact that these are the hand made wines of the bodegas receiving extra special attention and care. A blend of 50% Garnacha Blanca and 50% Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel and then aged on lees to give volume and texture in the mouth.
Food Match
A very pleasing match with shellfish, white fish and mushroom risotto.
