Tasting note
An elegant and contemporary expression of Bolgheri, with aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry and plum, lifted by violet, Mediterranean herbs and subtle sweet spice. Silky and refined on the palate, it combines depth, freshness and polished tannins, unfolding into a long, harmonious finish with notes of cocoa and cedar.
Viticulture
Vines are cultivated in the coastal Bolgheri zone, where sea breezes and strong diurnal range promote balanced ripening. Soils of sand, clay and stones ensure drainage and complexity. Yield is carefully limited through pruning and canopy management, with sustainable vineyard practices guiding fruit development and ensuring concentration and elegance.
Vinification
Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity. Maceration on the skins extracts colour and structure, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in oak barrels of varying sizes for refinement, before blending and bottling.
