Tasting note
Deep ruby in colour, this Bolgheri Superiore 2021 shows a modern, refined profile. The nose opens with black cherry, cassis and plum, layered with subtle vanilla, graphite and sweet spice. On the palate it is full-bodied yet precise, with polished tannins, fresh acidity and a clean, linear structure leading to a long, elegant, fruit-driven finish.
Viticulture
Vines are trained for optimal sun exposure and airflow, promoting even ripening. Sandy, clay and limestone soils ensure drainage and complexity. Yield restriction, canopy management and sustainable, low-impact practices preserve acidity, aromatics and phenolic maturity, delivering balance, concentration and a clear coastal terroir expression.
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes from Bolgheri vineyards are carefully selected and gently destemmed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with maceration on skins and gentle pump-overs. Aged in French oak barriques to refine tannins and add structure before bottle ageing and refinement.
