Tasting note
Amazing aromas of fresh ripe red plum, some strawberry, with delicious, savoury flavours, spice and licorice. Utterly fresh and moreish on the palate.
Viticulture
The grapes come from a variety of vineyards in Monterey County, mostly Alta Loma and Loma del Rio.
Vinification
A classic blend of Southern Rhône varieties, Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. Wormholes in the vineyard improve cosmic ray influence, giving a certain 'lift' to the wine.
Food Match
Heavenly with a medium-rare bavette steak, charcuterie or an aubergine parmegiana - served on a flying saucer, of course.
