Tasting note
This wine has a nice red colour. The nose is very complex, shows aromas of ripe red fruits like plums and cherries are combined with notes of spices and flowers. By oak aging are hints of vanilla and chocolate. The palate has good entry, with mild tannins, this wine is persistent, fine and elegant.
Viticulture
Pasarisa prides itself in showcasing some of the most exciting winemaking regions in Argentina. From Salta, in the north, through La Rioja, to Patagonia, the southernmost tip of South America. These vineyards in Patagonia are chalky soil, at 1,000 - 1,600 feet elevation.
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel tank & concrete tank for 10-12 days at 25ºC. Aged in French oak 2nd, 3rd use barrels for 6-9 month.
