Tasting note
Fresh and elegant white wine with aromas of lemon, grapefruit, white peach, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity, flavors of pear and green apple, with a distinctive mineral touch from its terroir.
Viticulture
Lujan de Cuyo (950m/ 3117 ft). Alluvial origin. Clay topsoil with rounded rocks on the bottom. 30%Clay – 40%Silt – 30%Sand.
Vinification
This wine goes through cold settling of 8-24hs at less than 50°F (10°C) to extract aromas. The juice is then fermented for around 25-45 days with a total maceration of approximately 6 hours. Minimum Battonage Program. Elevage: 4-8 months aged in 100% French oak, 25% first, 2nd and 3rd use barrels.
