Tasting note
Deep violet colour, elegant and complex nose, with ripe red and black berry fruits aromas with notes of flowers as violet and lavender, leather and a touch of spices and vanilla. Mouthfeel is full and rich, sweet tanins and smooth structure. Mid palate has layers of blackberries and blackcurrant with hints of licorice, vanilla and black pepper.

Angelica vineyard, Maipú, Luján de Cuyo: Lot 18, (920m/3018ft). La Piramide vineyard, Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo: Lot 4, (950m/3116ft). Nicasia vineyard, Altamira, San Carlos, Valle de Uco: Lot 1, (1095m/3592ft). Adrianna vineyard, Tupungato, Valle de Uco: Lot 9,(1450m/4757ft). Angélica Sur, San Carlos, Valle de Uco: Lot 6, (1090m/3576ft).
Vinification
Whole berries are hand loaded into small format fermentation bins and 225-500 litre barrels; lots from each vineyard are treated individually; fermentation lasts for 10-20 days and a total maceration of 10-22 days; Wild yeasts. Full malolactic fermentation. Aging for 12-18 months in 1st, 2nd and 3rd use barrels.
