Tasting note
Delicate shell pink, with aromas of strawberry, pomegranate and rhubarb. Soft, fresh and delicious, with a silky Merlot mouthfeel, and light, very soft tannins. Delicate, yet with substance.
Viticulture
From vineyards with alluvial soils from ancient intrusions of the Río Negro, in the cool zone of Valle Azul. Vines 20-30 years old, high-trained, 4,000 plants per hectare.
Vinification
100% Merlot, hand-harvested into 13kg boxes in the morning hours, pre-fermentation maceration for four days, before whole-bunch pressing. Fermented at 12-15°C for 20 days in small stainless steel tanks and concrete vessels.
