Tasting note
Matas Altas is a village wine that marks the character of the old vineyards planted on Pie Franco in Fuente-Álamo. They are old vineyards in calcareous soils that mark a profile of wines with full maturity and concentration being at the same time fresh, agile and fine. Wines from warm days, cold nights and limestone.
Vinification
Fermentation in Wooden foudre and open barrels. Aging of 11 months in Foudre of 5000 liters and used barrels of 500 liters. Bottled without filtering or clarifying.
