Tasting note
Fresh and elegant, with aromas of white peach, pear and citrus blossom, layered with hints of almond, wild flowers and subtle herbs. The palate is crisp yet textured, offering ripe orchard fruit, lively acidity and a refined mineral character, finishing long, savoury and beautifully balanced.
Viticulture
Grechetto is grown in the Colli Martani hills of Umbria, where clay and limestone soils, warm sunny days and cool nights encourage slow, even ripening. Careful vineyard management and balanced yields produce grapes with concentrated aromas, vibrant acidity, subtle minerality and a distinctive expression of this historic Umbrian variety.
Vinification
The Grechetto grapes are gently pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity and freshness. The wine is then aged on its fine lees for several months, enhancing texture, depth and complexity while maintaining the vibrant fruit character, elegance and mineral expression of Colli Martani Grechetto.
Food Match
Great aperitif wine or consumed with seafood, veal or poultry dishes.
