Tasting note
A perfect example of a quintessential Malbec from the Mendoza region. Opaque, inky purple in the glass with neon magenta at the rim. This full-bodied red bursts with macerated blue and black fruit. The 10 – 12 months of aging in French oak barrels adds subtle notes of toasted oak and cocoa powder.

Viticulture
The vineyard is at 1,200m above sea level on alluvial, sandy loam and stony soil. Spring shoot thinning, cluster thinning after veraison, defoliation.
Vinification
Whole berry fermentation in stainless steel tanks with natural yeasts. 3 pumpovers per day, and 5 délestage total. 15 days of skin maceration. 100% aged 12 months in new French oak barrels.
