Tasting note
A single-site fine wine from a 0.46 hectare plot of centenarian Albillo and Tempranillo vines, Milsetentayseis La Peña is a complex and unique rosé, with silky completeness of texture and great length. The vineyard is located at 948 metres elevation in Ribera del Duero's rugged highlands.

La Peña 2022 is a complex and singular rosé that represents in a pure and honest way the identity of its origin, synonymous with a Ribera del Duero that goes back centuries in time.
Viticulture
From vineyards in Fuentenebro, a renowned site in Ribera del Duero, adjacent to an ancient stone mine where reddish soil - enriched with quartz, mica, and feldspar - yield intensely pure grapes. Milsetentayseis, an ancestral vineyard, offers freshness from high-altitude grapes grown between valleys and hillsides over 1000 meters up.
Vinification
In the winery, the clusters of these centenary vines were gently pressed to obtain the purest essence of each variety. Fermentation and aging were carried out for seven months in 600-liter French oak barrels. During this time it remained in contact with its lees.
