Tasting note
Intense black cherry colour in the glass. Very intense on the nose with notes of ripe fruit: glacé cherries in liqueur, red pepper seasoning, rose petals. A wine with a long, seemingly endless finish.
Viticulture
Organic Viticulture (non-certified). Low yields, very tiny berries resulting in wines with lots of concentration.
Vinification
Short Maceration due to the small size of the berries, but even so, a wine with super extraction, structure, color and tanins. Malo in oak. Aged in both french and american (25%) oak, new and used.
Food Match
A wine with firm personality. It can be enjoyed by itself or with powerful dishes (game stews, cured cecina, dark chocolate).
