Viñedos Sierra Cantabria

The Eguren family has been making outstanding Rioja since 1870, and Viñedos Sierra Cantabria is their more contemporary brand. 19 carefully selected vineyards in Sonsierra and Alavesa across 65 hectares make the backbone of their estate, and back up the family’s mantra that “above all, we are grape growers.” Today, brothers Marcos and Miguel implement the accrued knowledge of five generations of their family, and cut no corners in the vineyard. Grapes are hand-selected to account for microclimates at different altitudes (from the River Ebro at 350m to the Sierra Cantabria mountain range at 1,200m).
