Lanson

When Jean-Baptiste Lanson took the helm of the Champagne house, the company prospered and exports grew, particularly in Great Britain, where Lanson was awarded the Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1900 - an honour it has retained to this day. Early on in the company’s history, the classically crisp house style was established when the family made the decision to vinify its wines without malolactic fermentation. This, combined with extended ageing in their cellars before release, contributes to what can best be described as beautifully complex and rewarding wines.
