Introduction

Founded in 1972 by Remo Nardone as an Italian specialist wine distributor, Enotria has grown to be one of the UK’s leading premium wine and spirits distributors. Complete ownership of our supply chain and unrivalled data insights into UK wine-buying behaviour ensure seamless customer service, full control over the customer journey and an ability to deliver targeted solutions tailored to each of Enotria’s customers.

Working with a diverse portfolio of over 300 exclusive wine producers and over 1,500 spirits producers, spanning unique family estates to iconic names, leading brands to market innovators, Enotria has established one of the most comprehensive and exclusive ranges of premium wines and spirits of any distributor in the UK.

Acquired by Majestic Wine Group in April 2025, Enotria continues to operate as a standalone business, serving all drinks industry channels by leveraging its premium on-trade, off-trade and DTC market expertise to build long-standing relationships. Enotria’s 10,000-strong client base includes independent retailers, fine dining, specialist bars, hotels, travel operators and prestigious events venues.

Overview

We are looking for a talented, dedicated and resilient People/HR Advisor to join our People Team, based in Park Royal.

As our People/HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in bringing our People Plan to life, contributing to the success of our Company objectives and Plan on a Page. You’ll be a trusted partner to our Operations and Customer Services teams, providing confident, practical advice on employee relations and people practices.

You will be required to manage individual cases from start to finish, supporting managers through the entire process, all the while ensuring fair and legally compliant processes and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities also include advising on policy, providing training, and contributing to the development of HR procedures and best practices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in HR who’s ready to develop their expertise, take on broader projects and grow their career within a supportive and ambitious People Team.

The successful candidate will be required to work Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm. We will consider requests for hybrid working, but there is an expectation that you are on-site at least 3 days a week. Occasionally, there might be a requirement for you to support the night shift manager in dealing with cases, but this will be agreed in advance and where possible, can be carried out via Teams video calls.

Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on promoting positive working relationships, resolving conflicts and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of HR policies and practices. Further duties and responsibilities include:

  • Be a go-to point of contact and expert for managers on employee relations, providing clear, commercial, and people-focused advice.
  • Ensure our managers are confident in applying policies and best practice.
  • Help shape and evolve our HR policies and processes — bringing ideas to make things simpler, better, and more effective.
  • Support the People Team with various HR administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use your initiative to identify improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous development.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business and champion our values in every interaction.
